ABANA - The Artist Blacksmith Association of North America

ABANA is the largest blacksmithing organization in the world, with thousands of members world-wide. Throughout North America regional blacksmithing groups like ours are affiliate members of ABANA, including us. We became an official affiliate in November 1998, and some of our members have individual memberships.

ABANA publishes two magazines a quarter, one is a full colour glossy magazine that is full of beautiful photos and interviews and member profiles. It's a real show piece of the state of the craft today. The other magazine is black and white and is full of tips, techniques, and projects.
